we had a beard growing contest at work. a bunch of us grew beards for a month and then got to shave them in to the best style.

about 15 people from the olund family clan went on a cruise to grand caymen, cozumel, belize, and costa maya.
goodbye carpet (6.24.07)
goodby carpet. hello cement. we ripped up the nasty old carpet in our living room. we were thinking that maybe we could just clean up the cement beneath and have a cool cement floor. well we were wrong. the cement is stained and not so cool looking. now we are trying to decide what kind of floor we want. so far we are thinking maybe cork or maybe bamboo.

the creative genius of heather and marc. okay mostly heather. i told her it would be a dumb idea to pretend we were smelling the tree. but when we came up with the tag phrase "smells like christmas" it was perfect.
